Welcome to Holly Bluff

Pass through the gate and you’re part of the family.

Holly Bluff opened in 1968 on land carved from a 100-foot bluff covered in holly trees — that’s where the name comes from. More than five decades later, we’re proud to be one of the oldest and most recommended family campgrounds in the Central Piedmont of North Carolina.

Many of our guests are second- and third-generation campers who first came with their parents or grandparents. They come back for the same reasons you will: big shady sites, a clean bathhouse with hot showers, a pool the kids won’t leave, and neighbors who wave as you roll by.

Whether you’re a road-weary traveler on NC-49, a weekender from Charlotte or the Triad, or settling in for a month, there’s a site with your name on it.
